Yanagawa High School 
This summer short-term program, organized by Yanagawa High School in Japan, offers students the opportunity to study English for just over two weeks in the UK. Participants will stay at Tonbridge School, where they will take part in English classes during the week. On weekends, students will go on excursions to various famous sites across the country.

このプログラムは、日本の私立柳川高等学校が主催する、約2週間の夏季短期留学プログラムです。生徒はイギリス・トンブリッジスクールに滞在し、現地で英語を学びます。平日は英語の授業に参加し、週末にはイギリス国内のさまざまな名所を訪れて観光を楽しみます。
英語の本場で語学力を伸ばしたい方、異文化に触れてみたい方のご参加をお待ちしています！
Learn and Enjoy in English! 英語で学び、英語で楽しむ！
On school days, mornings are dedicated to English lessons, while afternoons are filled with a variety of activities where students can practice English in real-life situations. During the program, around 20 university students will support and assist you in your learning. Additionally, Tonbridge School, our host school, is well-known for its sports programs. Students will have the chance to join in sports activities alongside local students, providing a fantastic opportunity to make new friends while using English in a fun, interactive environment.
平日の午前中は英語の授業に参加し、午後は様々なアクティビティを通じて英語を実践的に体験します。滞在中は、20名程度の現地の大学生がみなさんの学びのサポートをしてくれます。さらに、受け入れ校であるトンブリッジスクールはスポーツでも有名な学校ですので、現地の生徒たちと一緒にスポーツを楽しむこともできます。英語を使いながら、仲間と一緒に新しい経験を積むことができる貴重な機会です。
Safe and Comfortable School Dormitory 安全で快適な寮
Participants will stay in the school dormitory. The facility has a dining hall where three meals a day are provided throughout the stay. In addition to study rooms, the dormitory features a common rooms with a ping-pong table and a pool table. There is also a garden where students can enjoy activities like football on sunny days, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable school life.
参加者は学校の寮に滞在します。施設内には食堂があり、滞在中は1日3食の食事が提供されます。寮の敷地内には勉強部屋だけでなく、卓球台やビリヤード台のある共用部屋、晴れた日にのびのびとサッカーなどが楽しめる庭もあり、快適な学校生活を送ることができます。
Weekend Excursions 週末の小旅行
In addition to intensive English learning, the program also includes weekend excursions to famous sightseeing spots in London, such as Buckingham Palace and Shakespeare’s Globe. It also features day trips to destinations outside of London, including Brighton, Oxford, and Leeds Castle for example.
集中的な英語学習に加え、週末の観光地への小旅行もプログラムに含まれています。バッキンガム宮殿、シェイクスピアグローブなどロンドンの有名観光地、ブライトン、オックスフォード、リーズ城などロンドン郊外へ足を伸ばし、美しい英国の街を散策します。

About the program プログラムについて
Tonbridge School, our host institution, is located in a beautiful, nature-rich area about 60 km southeast of central London. It is approximately a 1 hour and 15 minute drive from London Heathrow Airport. Tonbridge is one of the UK’s most prestigious private schools, renowned for its academic excellence and rich heritage. The expansive campus features traditional red-brick buildings, beautiful gardens, a chapel, student dormitories, and excellent sports facilities.
受け入れ校のTonbridge Schoolはロンドン中心部から南東約60kmに位置する豊かな自然に恵まれた地域にあります。ロンドンヒースロー空港からは約1時間15分で移動できます。この学校は英国でも有名な一流の私立学校です。煉瓦造りの学舎や美しい庭、教会、学生寮などが広大な敷地内にありスポーツ施設なども充実した学校です。
The program takes place during the summer vacation. In 2025, it was held from July 8 to July 25.
プログラムは夏休み中に行われます。2025年のプログラム実施期間は7月8日から7月25日まででした。
